Seasonal invaders for cooler weather include silverfish, earwigs, moths, all types of ants, spiders, and cockroaches. One of the most common winter invaders is the mouse or rat.
Generally, if a pencil can fit through something, a mouse can too! Mice are territorial and rarely travel more than 30 feet from their nest. They will breed year round, and can give birth to up to a dozen babies every 3 weeks!
Cockroaches are the most common pest that infest homes, food establishments, and other dwellings. Once cockroaches become established, they are prolific breeders capable of producing several thousand offspring in a year. There are several cockroaches more common to this area, including the German, Smokybrown, and the American cockroach.
